Deposit and Cancellation Policy:
- Failure of the guests to arrive, or cancellations made 0 to 7 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 100% of the pre-payment.
- Cancellations made 7-14 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- On receipt of a written instruction to cancel the reservation, including bank details, Life on 3rd will refund the applicable amount, within 3 working days.
- Life on 3rd levies a 7% administration fee on any refunds processed. Should refunds to a SWIFT bank account be required, an additional R185 charge will be levied.
- Cancellations of reserved dates by Company partners that has not been settled before arrival, will be held liable for full payment if cancelled within 14 days of arrival, and 50% within 21 days of arrival. If company accounts are outstanding for 14 days or more we will levy a 15% interest charge. If it is outstanding for 28 days or more we will levy a 25% interest charge.
- Group bookings of 3 or more rooms: Failure of the guests to arrive, or cancellations made 0 to 7 days prior to the agreed arrival date forfeit 100% of the pre-payment, and 14-28 days 50% of the pre-payment.
- Any undisclosed guests staying over the night will be charged the full rate of R495 per night- and this amount will be billed to the person/institute liable for the room bill.
Conditions

- Check in time is from 14:00pm - 18:00pm
- Please advise if you are arriving later or earlier to ensure that you will be received on arrival
- Check Out
- Check out time is from 5:30am - no later than 10:30am- This is strict as we have to prepare for our new guests.
- Guests not checked out after 10:30am will be charged
- Disclaimer
- Whilst every precaution is taken to ensure the safety of our guests and their possessions on the premises, the owners and managers of LiFE on 3rd will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to persons or their belongings whatsoever including their vehicles and belongings in their vehicles
If issued with a remote a R400 deposit will be required, This will become non refundable if the remote is not returned.
- Key Policy:
- For loss of keys or unreturned keys: the guesthouse needs to replace all locks and all keys. There will be a R685 charge to the guest who loses their set of keys and the bill payer will be held liable.
- The kitchen operates from 07h00-10h00- for breakfast. Dinner and Lunch will be provided on request of guests with a 12 hour notice.
- Laundry:
- We provide a laundry service, and rates applied to the amount of laundry items.
- Guests will be held liable for any willfull damage, and damage caused due to neglicence to the business and the property.
- By booking and paying for accommodation we accept that guests accept these terms and conditions.
- Right of admission is reserved.
